It rarely captures the rear of our vehicles with normal use of our driveway, so it’s doubtful we would catch a good shot of a potential intruder vehicle. Have it set up to take 2 “instant” photos of every detection, but shutter speed is such that it usually only captures a vehicle or wildlife in only one picture and sometimes misses entirely. Tried several different camera settings and locations, but found it’s hit or miss to capture good picture of the rear of a vehicle. Switched to lithium and those are still showing 100% charge after 3 weeks and 200+ pictures. Camera ate up 8 alkaline batteries in less than one month and 350 pictures. Camera operation and iPhone app setup were relatively simple, although did need to format SD card in computer. This Link-Micro was my first trail cam and purchased primarily to capture pics of vehicles, including rear license plates, which enter/exit our 500 ft long driveway. Nice concept, but disappointing performance Hi there, we appreciate your review and thank you for sharing your experience. Can’t imagine having to pull cards!! Had my two cameras for just over a year so far. My friend had an issue with one of three cameras and they sent him a replacement. But no refund on monthly fee despite obvious ongoing problems. Problem is when you try a fix and then do t go back to the lease that’s 3 hours away for a few months. Cs was okay helpful but didn’t refund the three months of no pics. The other has had intermittent issues (4*). We also switched our phones to Verizon for this reason. I know we get Verizon better than att so know your preferred carrier for that area. Sometimes play with position to improve solar and cell. Usually catches me but sometimes doesn’t trigger. Noticed it has missed activity like when I drove by in a utv. Helps to set up camera positions or remote trigger if you suspect something is there. Thank you!-EMĤ* for app for one feature request. As for your other comments, we have taken them under consideration for future releases. Please note that you delete multiple pictures at once by clicking on a picture for 2-3 seconds and then you should have the option to delete multiple ones at the same time. Hi there! Thank you for your review, we appreciate your feedback. The functions that are in the app, work well. That means changes cannot be done on the fly - they are tied to the cameras set schedule (user set). You have to wait for the camera to communicate on its schedule. This ties in with the camera communication. Also the bug mentioned above messes up the mass delete function. Yes, you can delete a bunch of pictures at one in the small display mode, but the banner slows you down when viewing the pics at larger display. It appears over the delete button - so when you are reviewing large version of pic and delete a pic, you have to wait until the confirmation banner disappears before deleting the next pic. One annoyance is the photo deleted confirmation message. Keeping in mind that people that are installing this app are people that have purchased the cameras. So two bugs 1) delete button is disabled 2) unselected pics are deleted if they are in the same range as group selection (day, last week, months). Then clicking the delete button will delete ALL your pics from that day - even the ones you deselected. To get delete button re-enabled, you can deselect and reselect a pic while all others are selected or deselected. On the Photos tab, selecting all pictures in a day and then deselecting one or more pics disables the delete button. Latest version has bugs with selecting and deleting photos.
